MI films have the best trailers.

This isn't on Fallout's level but Fallout may be my #2 trailer of all time behind Man of Steel.

I haven't liked any of the recent MIs except for Rogue Nation but that was a great trailer

Cruise finally looks "old"

I 100% believe that last shot on the motorcycle and Cruise going over the edge was all real and not CGI with Tom doing the stunt.

Love him or hate him Cruise is committed to his craft and works extremely hard at skydiving, driving and all stunt work. The director of Rogue Nation told Simon Pegg that he would be doing a scene with with Cruise driving and he told Pegg don't worry because Tom is the best stunt driver here.

I will be at the theater day 1 seeing this.

Meh.

Hey look a car chase, that looks like every other car chase.
Woah, a fight scene, that looks like every other fight scene.
But submarines with underwater explosions!!! U571 did it 22 years ago.

Nothing new or compelling here. Just a bunch of meh.

was there nudity in there? i feel like MI has avoided any real sex since MI2.

i'm not complaining either way, but around 17 seconds that kinda surprised me.

Idk why but I love the fact they brought back Kittridge from the very first one to be Ethan’s final foil. Can’t fricking wait.

Have enjoyed every MI movie

Cast Per Wikipedia:
quote:

Cast
Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, an IMF agent and leader of a team of operatives

Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, an IMF computer technician, a member of Hunt's team and his closest friend

Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, an IMF technical field agent and a member of Hunt's team

Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust, a former MI6 agent who allied with Hunt's team during Rogue Nation and Fallout

Hayley Atwell as Grace.[3] Christopher McQuarrie described Atwell's character as a "destructive force of nature", while Atwell explained that her character's loyalties are "somewhat ambiguous" and said, "I've been living in an existential crisis since October, going 'who am I? who am I?' An actor in search of a character... There's ambiguity...the interesting thing we're exploring is her resistance to a situation she finds herself in. How she starts off, where she becomes. The journey of what she comes into and what is asked of her and potentially where she ends up."[4]

Vanessa Kirby as Alanna Mitsopolis, a black market arms dealer also known as the White Widow. Daughter of "Max" from the first film

Henry Czerny as Eugene Kittridge, the former director of the IMF last seen in the first Mission: Impossible

Esai Morales as the film's primary villain

Frederick Schmidt as Zola Mitsopolis, Alanna's brother and enforcer[5]

Shea Whigham as Jasper Briggs[6]

Pom Klementieff, Rob Delaney, Charles Parnell, Indira Varma, Mark Gatiss, Cary Elwes, Lampros Kalfuntzos and Greg Tarzan Davis have also been cast in undisclosed roles.[7]

The rise of this franchise has made the demise of the James Bond franchise irrelevant. Love these movies.
