The content's owner/executor decides what is appropriate, not you or Fox.

How so? Fox were the ones who wanted to change things at the last minute, not Dinesh.

The interview was scheduled months prior. Denish produced the trailer the week of and made demands that they run the full 90 seconds. Tucker declined and Denish yanked his guest on the eve of taping the segment.

You don’t spend a ton of money producing a movie for which the content you own, and then let another organization play a clip of your movie and act like their cameramen shot it themselves instead of promoting your movie. Fox is full of shite here.

He communicated his terms that if Fox wanted to use it, they had to play the whole thing. He didnt hold a gun to their head, they can say no.

He communicated his demands the week of the interview.......which had been planned months in advance.

They DID say no to his demands. At which point Denish got the woman to pull out of the interview at the last minute. It was a punk move.

Are you sure this is what happened? Maybe I am mis-remembering, but I thought Dinesh offered the trailer and they wanted to use part, so he said he didn't want them taking credit for it and cutting it in half, and wouldn't agree to let them use only part of the trailer, but the guest remained (the True the Vote girl).

I just want to say, for the Tucker rep that probably monitors this site, you better hope you have something that shows Dinesh was a prick when the initial refusal happened, because the VP EV dude is an unprofessional ahole. Which obviously makes Tucker look bad too.

One thing is getting the argument on both sides, but that doesn't matter at all once you see how much of a POS the Tucker Show VP EV comes of as. And after looking him up, he looks like what I was thinking while reading it all...

Agreed, Dinesh should not get a free commercial on Tucker. You pay for that. Tucker's team, is within their rights to use an appropriate snippet.

No, what was appropriate was for Tucker's team to say:

"Dinesh, we need you to shorten the trailer to xx seconds and to limit that to mostly content. We welcome you purchasing ad time on our show should you want to have your entire marketing piece aired."

Tucker needs to stop letting Ari Gold produce things for him.

So this lady just does the bidding of Dinesh with no self-autonomy? Dinesh has more sway and power than Fox? Maybe she agreed with him?

This is what you call a classically trained Indian thinker clashing with a complete a-hole

Classically trained Indian thinkers are very straightforward and sometimes miss nuance - like Fox might actually be helping them

On the other hand, this guy was a compete a-hole so I am going to side with the classical thinking on this one (even though they missed the mark too)

I'm pretty sure these email exchanges are from February. There was an interview that was originally scheduled then with Catherine Engelbrecht. Denish had just finished a 90 second teaser trailer the week of the interview. The producers wanted to use some clips from it and Denish demanded all or nothing.

quote:

We booked Catherine ages ago. the segment came through her. The trailer and everything happened this week. We wanted to help you out. We would have made reference to the film, Absolutely.

Then this quote....
quote:

you fcked with our booking the day of the segment.

Denish seems to back away from any responsibility for her pulling out last minute.......
quote:

Catherine is her own person. I produced the trailer and that was my only condition that I made clear to Alex.........I didn't mess up your schedule.

So then they get another chance to interview Catherine months later and everyone is puzzled as to why there is no mention of the movie etc. Denish decides to selectively paste emails from February to explain why it happened and put the blame on Tuckers producers claiming they were trying to take credit for his work.

You can thank Jan 6 for that. Regardless of you any of us feel about the motives or truth about what happened that day, the event and the fallout forced all the news media to push as far away from the election fraud conspiracy.

I can't see points on both sides but Justin Wells was completely unprofessional in the way it was handled. You just don't talk to people that way especially when Dinesh was keeping it civil. I understand he might have been stressed because it was last minute. Some of that falls on his Assoc producer who didn't relay Dinesh's position adhed of time. Still you don't take that out on a guest and you should remain professional in your job especially when you are speaking for someone else's behalf.

Having said that I don't see why they could not have whipped up a 45 sec trailer to be shown that would still have had all the elements of the 90 sec one. I mean it's 45 sec of free airtime on the biggest cable news show on the planet. You don't turn that down.

They're both bitches. Now this Dinesh guy goes straight to social media, of course, to trash Tucker's show and Tucker himself. The rest of the MSM is just laughing their arse off because every time somebody on the right tries to expose the corruption they trip over their dick and end up making a joke of the whole thing. Good job everybody, now because Dinesh threw all this up on Twitter the rest of the media can point and say "see it's silly bullshite".

I don’t think so, because if Fox tried to steal any of what they were given, they’d be sued to oblivion by Dinesh. They HAVE to give credit. Dinesh pulled the rug out of his own paranoia.

Dinesh can’t really dictate the terms of what the Tucker show will air.
It’s like the producer said, if he wanted the entire 2000 Mules trailer to run during Tucker’s show, buy an ad.
Heck Mike Lindell and Balance of Nature run infomercials every night!

I don't know about that, Fox wants wants more ratings and it would be no surprise if they tried to do so on Dinesh even if it meant being sued.
