Republican Senator Pope did not even show up and Republican Senator Mills did not vote. Absolutely disgraceful!

If you notice, there is a trend here.

Cowardly GOPers will not even show up or not even vote period and will magically get re-elected.

Got to love teh "Opt out" option

All kids will be vaccinated or they will sign the opt out which essentially send them home from school every time there is 2 cases in the school and they cannot be active in any teams or groups. There will always be two cases in every school at anytime.

Pope and Mills are POS.

Abstention and outright absences should result in removal from office. It is disgusting how many elected officials routinely just don't even show up--either out of laziness, incompetence, or cowardice.

Looking at you, Chandler Loupe.

This reeks of corruption. When a committee member won't even defend his vote - especially when he/she knows it is unpopular within their party. It would be one thing if they voted against it and gave a strong opinion on why. It's another when they kill a bill and go hide under a rock.

Those people are bought and paid for, IMO.

A couple weeks ago I e-mailed Pope and urged him to vote in favor of HCR3. I read this thread and immediately e-mailed him again informing him that as a Veteran and as one of his constituents, I will not be voting for him in 2024 or in any race ever again. I informed him that many other of his constituents feel the same. What a disgrace. Talk about someone who doesn't understand who he represents or more likely, doesn't care.

I was sent this earlier from someone who is high up in one of the larger private companies in LA...in reference to Mills

quote:

Let's just say I have no faith that he's going to make the right decision here. He is also pushing for physician assistants and nurse practitioners to be independent practitioners without any physician oversight whatsoever. I wrote him a nasty letter this week to go against house bill 158 which basically designates the erosion of healthcare into a bunch of yoo-hoos hands. It's interesting that he has a hand in all of the marijuana legalization issues also. I wonder who they borrow their money from to build all of those marijuana facilities? I had heard that his bank does not have the FDIC insurance or federal ties and the only banks that could lend money for those projects were non-federally invested banks ie no FDIC backing. Coincidence? I don't have confirmation of that, but I have always wondered if that is true or not. Feel free to research it…
