I’m pretty sure it was not the CDC that came up with the outbreak definition of 2 cases in 2 weeks. It was the LDH that pulled that out of nowhere. The CDC recommends the Covid vaccine be added on the schedule. Currently, the Covid vaccine is ON the LA schedule as recommended like the flu shot. It’s not currently required. JBE tried that already and gave in to Landry’s lawsuit and the non RINO legislature and massive wave of parents that pushed back. Not saying it won’t happen, but it will be tough for JBE to make this required on schedule LA unless the CDC changes the language to required.

Technically Covid 19 shot is on LA vaccine schedule now but it’s recommended (like flu shot)not required. Many red states will “recommend” shot. JBE will most likely try to move shot from recommended to required. Public schools will take exceptions but enforce “break out”. Private schools won’t enforce like public schools will.

Some Republican Senators and AG Landry are starting to get suspicious with JBE regarding K-12 Mandate.
filing the paperwork to change the vaccine rule could take up to 30 days possibly 60. Some R’s in legislature are starting to think JBE may wait for Covid cases to rise and put mandate right back in place before school starts. AG Landry is also suspicious of this has sent sent letter to JBE asking for transparency in process. Some version of HCR3 needs to pass so JBE has no power mandating Covid vaccine in August. JBE can not be trusted. I would not let your guard down just yet.

Discharge was going to happen today. They had the votes to pass HCR3 and JBE folded to avoid embarrassment. The LDH didn’t just change their mind suddenly. The spin from the media is unreal. Thank you to all for fighting. Hopefully this can be a lesson for us all. Stay away from the kids!!!

Nothing yet still waiting. I’m pretty sure discharge petition will happen but I know JBE and Cortez trying to use stall tactics to prevent from getting to floor. Confident it will be today if it already hasn’t happened but no official word yet
I’m hearing tomorrow could be the day. Please keep the pressure on. JBE is doing everything he can to stop this
