The average OTer will never admit that it’s hotter now (or at least FEELS way, way hotter) than it was 20 or 30 or 40 yrs ago, becuase then it destroys their narrative that “Climate change is a hoax!!” .. that is perpetrated by “The Left!!!’…. They will show you all sorts of charts and graphs, but- much like how a windchill factor can make 15 degrees feel like - 27 degrees , the temperatures in the South *feel* much hotter than they did when i was a kid in the 80s.. sure, some of it is aging- but it goes way beyond that, and you will never convince the average gravy-soaked, cousin-fricking OTer that theyre wrong until it’s too late and the planet becomes unlivable.

There has been a breeze most days. Not terrible in the shade.

as kids, we were outside in this stuff from seven in the morning until the sun went down.

Our schools weren't even air conditioned. And we had water fountains next to the can at school, and a hose at home for water. There were no water bottles.

Also, our coaches would not let us have water in practice and gave us salt pills instead.

You got used to it.

You are no different than one of these Covid deniers who were lying on a vent going ‘It’s no big deal!’ .. and now theyre dead and they left behind a wife and a few kids to fend for themselves becuase of their own stupidity and selfishness … The rest of us are going to have to clean up the mess you’re leaving on our planet.. Congrats, i dont know how frickers like you sleep at night .

Unusually hot for this time of year across most of the middle 1/3 of the country. Breaking records for the time of year.

Big ridge built in and is stuck for the next two days. Will fade some by weekend but itll be nice and toasty next week too.

No, it never got hot until 10 years ago. Climate change freaks. I remember it getting 103 here in Central MS back when I was a 3rd grader in 1980. I remember running on the swimming pool concrete and burning my feet before I jumped in. My senior year in 1989, they let school out at lunch because it got from 101-103 about 4 days in a row, and we had no AC in classes. Of course, over the intercom before we released there was a message for all football players to report to the field house for practice. So, we let school out because it was too hot, but we had to practice football in it in full pads. Fun times.

My pool is my saving grace during the summer. I get in about 3 times a day and it seems to bring down my body temp a bit, which helps.

It's definitely hotter than usual for May. I'm dreading the heat this summer more than most.

I definitely have gotten softer. Heat never bothered me until I turned 45. Been downhill ever since

It doesn't really mean summer will be much hotter than normal, at least. I'm sure there will be a couple of those brutal heat waves mixed in with the typical 93/73 days. Upper level pattern is just a-hole right now.

It is warmer than it used to be, but the doomsday idiots have ruined "climate change."

Had overreactive females and their "Male" proggy counterparts not lied continually, people might believe climate change.

It was 105 this time in 97. I worked on a golf course at that time.

Quit complaining.

Not it’s not.

Little Rock’s high for today is 91 and was set in 1880.
