Dated the daughter of a dairy farmer and had an uncle who ran cattle in the late 70s. My uncle paid me in Kool aid. I got paid differently on the dairy.

Little Rock’s high for today is 91 and was set in 1880.

No its not hotter than normal, its just going to be the record high for the date is an interesting perspective.

No, it really hasn't been. I didn't have to bust out my breathable cammo for turkey season until the end of April, usually I have to wear it much earlier than that or sweat my arse off

This is why real people are disgusted by progressives. You people over exaggerate, lie and make false equivalence to make every goddamned point you make.

Climate change is real, but you are absolutely a LOW IQ fricker who cannot think, and simply parrots the dumbest information you can find.

You call everyone who doesn't meet the politically expedient left wing opinion either a hater, racist, or denier. You people are awful human beings.

You people are social outcasts, 100 lb weaklings who literally hate people with normal opinions. Everything is in extremes with progresives

It is embarrassing to be prog and male. I imagine thats why you people love to make up pronouns.

This is definitely worse than usual, but not because of global warming or anything.

We’ve been in a La Niña pattern (opposite of El Niño) for the past two winters and it’s still going on.

Hopefully it shifts back to EN this winter.

But late May is firmly summer, so not a surprise we get high readings then.

Right now, these 90+ days are unusual. Not unheard of, but unusual.

Also, is there a reason discussion of it being a little hot turned into a global warming thread?

There are a few LA record highs for May in mid-May. 2015 saw a similar heat wave around this time for the state.

Bunkie takes the win for record low in May at 32° on May 7, 1992. If the OT were around then, I bet some folks would have been bitching about how cold it was.

I just turned fifty. I can distinctly remember several occasions as a kid where the temps were over 100. Seems to happen far less now. If anything we may be a little cooler overall.

Try blaming the fricktards who refuse to concede the obvious, which is that shite is way hotter now, and getting hotter every single year.. god forbid they have to admit that the Right is dead wrong with their narrative and talking points .

Meanwhile, the closest I can find for my location in Alabama puts the May record high at 99° on May 19, 1962. And the record May low at 35° on May 5, 1957.
