Finally calling it a day

Well baws, I think I've reached my breaking point.
I come from a family of BR natives. I've lived in BR my whole life and I can no longer justify the decision to stay here. LSU Grad with TOPS, got a well paying major with a well paying job and I've stuck around for most of my professional career.
There is nothing worth fighting for any longer in this city.
The people in charge have willingly decided to ignore these issues, particularly crime, and have shown negative progress which is an impressive feat.
This will get worse before it gets better.
I truly do welcome arguments to the contrary but I believe there are none.

Move to Germantown , TN. We don’t have crime at all. Police presence is huge. Plenty of jobs and our taxes go to all the public parks here. Good roads , great schools, good BBQ , a good basketball team and the Memphis Redbirds as well.

I left BR three years ago and it was the best decision I ever made. All my family is from New Orleans but I just can’t see myself ever moving back to Louisiana.
