RBG is the sole reason Roe v Wade may be overturned

This whole subject is not high on my interest list but I do love irony.
RBG is the reason this is happening. She was selfish and stayed beyond when she should have. Didn’t let Obama pick a replacement which would have upheld the liberal viewpoints she held.
Liberals need to be reminded that their idol is the sole reason this is happening.

RGB didn't like Roe v. Wade anyway. It's bad case law.

People try and spin this but yeah. She was 81 and the Dems had both houses and the WH and decided to stick around.
We need age limits in Supreme Court justices.
I’d support an amendment for that. That an all federal positions.

Right. She's commented on it and thought the reasoning was...suspect. But loved the end result of course.
I had law professors that were left of Mao that thought it would be overturned at some point because it was so suspect as a matter of legal reasoning.

RGP had a modicum 0f honor for the legal profession = she was radical but really tried to figure out an arguement that could withstand scrutiny.
She was never able to justify the original RvW ruling - it was pure bullshite from the git-go.
But - she could fall back on stare decisis as the rationale for continuing using it as 'the law of the land.'
She was so confident that HRC would get to replace her, that she gambled --- and lost.

She knew they would cheat for Hillary. No one realized Trump would get so many votes. In 2020 they were ready.

The fix was in for Hillary. Ginsberg wasn't worried about Trump replacing her because the system to deny Trump the presidency was already in place.
Then, the excitement and turnout for Trump overwhelmed and broke the system. Woops. Proof is "81 million votes" for a functional glass licker that can't even effectively read from a teleprompter.

It is not the sole reason. It was a terrible decision and an over reach by SCOTUS. I feel there was much pressure on SCOTUS to pull it out of thin air. That same pressure is being applied to the 5 justices that are in favor of correcting this wrong. This was the reason for the leak.

If there was a new progressive justice this would not be happening. I don’t care if it’s shitty law, it would not be overturned. Hence “sole reason”

This take is absolutely spot on. I’m not sure it is getting overturned because of her, but she absolutely acted selfishly and opened the door to it by not stepping down during Obama’s 8 years as the president, she was in her 80s during almost all of his last term and died in office.
May have been simply arrogance that they wouldn’t lose in 2016. But either way, this is a great point to bring up and I think it not only speaks to how arrogant the modern day liberal is (and how they ironically look out for themselves above the collective), it shows how little accountability they hold for one another. They can bitch and moan all they want about this (maybe?) decision and how conservatives are the bad guys, but they should be condemning her for for allowing the court to become lopsided, instead they are selling children’s books about her at your local book fair. If the roles were reversed, conservatives would be looking for someone to blame and wouldn’t hesitate to call out one of their own for making such a mistake.
