San Antonio is the best hands down…actually has a culture & locals are friendly, then prolly Ft. Worth. Dallas, Houston & Austin are just sprawl & non stop traffic & kinda suck now, even though you gave tons of amenities. I always look forward to leaving them.

Austin sucks arse now that it's taken over by liberals. Dallas area but not in town would be my choice of those with the outskirts of San Antonio next.

Have lived in both Dallas and Austin and can say that Austin is definitively >>>>> than Dallas.

Fort Worth is the under rated gem of the larger cities though.

If you're living there, DFW metroplex. If you're a tourist, ATX or SA. If you're a woman with an unhealthy obsession with Chip and Joanna Gaines, Waco

I can't believe no one has mentioned the absolute most awesome and best city in Texas, that being El Paso of course!

I lived in San Antonio for 12 years, it is a pretty good place.

Austin is terrible now, I don't recommend it.

Houston and Dallas are H-U-G-E if that is what you are looking for.

But better than a city is a smaller town and the best town is......drumroll.....New Braunfels!

When you come here be sure to remember there is only one "s" in New Braunfels.
