About 7 or 8 years ago I bought aftermarket wheels with 295/70/18 (34.5/11.5/18) Nitto Trail Graps from eBay for cheaper than anywhere else.
They’ve lasted 60k miles but I need new ones. Just tires this time. Going to go down to 33/12.5. Anybody bought aggressive all terrains/mud tires lately and if so where?
Discount tire seems to be a decent price

I usually use tirebuyer.com, they ship to a local installer near you. In the past I found they had the best prices, but doing a quick search, looks like they are about what for what with discount tire right now.

I don't find buying online is cheaper these days. I deal with Mikes Tire or Thibodaux Tire, both have great prices.

Same. Just got a set a month ago. They had the best price. And they had them in inventory. Not easy to find. I had been checking prices in the last 3-4 months, and for the size I needed, the price increased 25% during that period

I deal with Area Wholesale Tires.
I get good service from Mastercraft tires. I think they are made by Cooper.

ETA: But they carry all major brands.

Same. Last 2 sets I've bought I called a local place after finding the cheapest online prices. Local price was less both times.

Let me tell you where NOT to go. Firestones of south louisiana. Specifically the one in downtown New Orleans. They suck the fat one. Takes all day, no appointments, not responsive to the phone...

My wife (no pics) used to take her car there and I told her to stop because they were such a hassle. I tried once more and it was very predictable. Utter chaos, bad attitudes, etc... plenty of PO'ed customers.

Do not bother with firestone.

Call around to your local shops and tell him you are pricing tires at multiple locations. They won't screw you that way. I have even had them ask what the others were quoting me.

Bought tires for a Tacoma, a Highlander and a Camry there last year. Need to remember to buy wipers for all three tomorrow. May just go out to Walmart for them. Also all three are due for an oil change. There goes whatever free time I might have had.

Found the guy running a garage and charging too much. Talking to potential customers on the phone is wasting time????

Last time I bought tires the stealership was doing buy 3 get 1 free and was a fair bit cheaper than everywhere else. Definitely pick up the phone and call around. I'm about to have to do it myself and I'm dreading it.

DiscountTireDirect.com

or

TireRack.com

You can have them delivered to your local installer and will almost always save money over buying from a brick and mortar location.

I usually go with Discount Tire because they offer free rotations.

I buy local. At least they offer some warranty/service when bought there. I pay a little more but to me it's worth the service if they have to come to me to fix an issue even once.
