A waffle pattern on the shoe and someone comes up with a tie in to Waffle House? Marketing 1001 right here.
Next level genius would be Adidas and Waffle House giving a free pair to the employee of the month at all of their restaurants for the next three months. The cost of the shoes would be peanuts compared to the free advertising and social media goodwill both companies would receive.
