went to the game last night. got a cheap ticket in the 500/600 level.

i guess the saints games i have been to recently have been in plaza or loge---good god the concourses up on the 500/600 level suck. way too narrow, the food/drink vendors are on either side so you have lines going in either direction and cross thru traffic is impossible. it diminished the experience.

is this latest fancy new renovation going to address the concourses?

It’s almost depressing up there. Blank white walls, narrow, poor food and drink choices like you said. It’s sad the little amount of attention they’ve put into up there, if they’ve done any.

500/600 level is for the peasants. I only sit in the 100’s

I agree with all the negative comments, but in a way its kind of a cool throwback to the old days that you don't often get to see any longer.

Everything about American major league sports is so glamorous and polished now so it's kinda keen to see shitty concourse with just popcorn hot dogs soda and beer

they also got rid of the ramps. all stairs now. when did that happen? when i was a kid, the joy was after the game, we'd run down the ramps.

500 level between the 30s are maybe my favorite seats

Most "changes" were lipstick on a pig.

The worst actual change for us was the removal of the ramps.

God you're miserable. It's one of the great sporting venues of yours or anyone's lifetime but you can't appreciate it.
Would you rather the retracting sphincter looking stadium out in Atlanta? Or how about SoFi where it's covered to appear as a dome and they still can't play when there's lightning?

But the location is. That is the main reason for its continued popularity.

They are about to start after the Final Four. All of those areas will be ripped out and redone.

Gayle was recently quoted as saying "frick dem poor people" when asked about widening the 500-600 concourses.

Yeah they're doing the renovations in 4 phases. The upper level concourse is about to be redone and widened.

Agreed 100%. We moved around for years looking for better seats. We've been in the 100s, 200s and 600s. Been in the 500s for 10+ years now and not going anywhere. Best views of a football game in the Dome is 500s between the 30s.

Simply didn’t enjoy the experience of that area, asks will be addressed during renovations, gets typical response.

I always loved it up there. Yeah it can be tough to get around but it was always fine to me. You just need to know when the good times are to go do whatever you need to do. After big close games when everyone stays and leaves at the same time it can be a standstill at times trying to leave.

You're too poor to afford good tickets and then complain that your nose bleed seats suck. America is in such good hands with this generation of snowflakes. Go cry to your mamma and GTFO this board!

The Dome awesome…I don’t envy no other team’s stadium… The Dome > Death Valley are my two favorites … Dome if I to choose

I’m going tonight. Got some tickets in the 600s for 30 bucks a piece. I’ve sat up there for football games before, but obviously a basketball court is much more condensed. Is it kinda hard to see what’s going on from up there?
