Watching this video is very telling.

Buzz Crying

First, he had to go research the data used by the NCAA selection committee after how many years as a head coach? Whether you like Wade or not, he was detail oriented enough to know the data points considered for selection.

Then he cries like a 5 year old that didn’t get ice cream. It’s real simple Buzz, play and beat better teams.

This would be a disaster hire and it would be an expensive disaster. Players do not like playing for him, he burns bridges very quickly, and will not be someone that builds on the unbelievable foundation we currently have.

After seeing several interviews with Buzz Williams, it is shocking to me that Woodward interviewed him and thought he would be worth 4 million a year to lead an SEC basketball program. It is this hire in particular that gives me the greatest concern with Woodward over the next few weeks.

If the next coach ever loses to him, he's a failure

He’s an A&M guy

Why does everyone think Woodward will do the exact same hires again?

Woodward has zero clue when it comes to basketball. I don't have a good feeling about who he's going to get

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure who ever comes in is going to have to lay their own foundation. I'll be really pissed at SW if it turns out football gets a bowl ban. There has got to have been a deal to get WW and let football off.

Woodward has an opportunity to not only not frick this up but to land someone that can keep the fan base hopeful.

I mean, A&M had more Quad 1 wins than Notre Dame had Quad 1 and Quad 2 wins combined. Oh yeah, they also beat ND head-to-head, and it only counted as a Quad 2 win for them. Yet, the Irish are in the tournament.

Seems fair to question which data points are being applied by the committee.

A&M played more Quad 1 games, and had a higher strength of record than Rutgers, but Rutgers is in the tournament.

Link? He got Marquette to the Elite Eight, and Virginia Tech to the Sweet Sixteen for only the second time in school history. Seems like he wins first and foremost.

I don't know if Buzz would be good for LSU or not. I don't necessarily want him. But just because his name is being mentioned doesn't mean some of you should be crying so much.

Buzz just got hit with major violations a couple years ago. If we’re going to hire a dirty coach there are better options than Buzz.

Woodward's aTm hires are not impressive. I've been satisficed with his current LSU hires. I hope he gets a good basketball coach.

After seeing the Aggies play those tournament games against Auburn and Ark., it is hard to imagine Buzz will leave.

Just have to wait and see who will be the next head coach.

Buzz is a decent coach. I’d easily take him at LSU right now.

If we hire that clown Im done with LSU bball till he's gone, and I got every home game and watch every road game. What was Wade, 10-0 against him? With that being said I like to think Woodward is smart enough to not hire him but how handled the NCAA stuff is making me doubt it.

He's a good coach and they got hosed but you don't criticize the committee who holds your fate in their hands
