proposed new tax targeting profits being reaped by oil companies

Yeah, because that'll show them. They won't just pass this tax on to their customers. This will only affect the oil companies.

frick I hate liberals.

So if you make “a living wage” as all the nut bags say, you do not qualify to receive any compensation.

The people on Government teet get richer. The working class takes it up the arse.

This kind of dumbassery along with the other 752 new gender encouragement, government mandates, and green new deals is what is going to encourage people with sense to start the revolution.

As it should be. I'm not in business to provide a job for someone else, I'm in business to make money.

As if inflated gas prices isn’t already enough of a burden at the pump.

So much for the Democrats being the party of the working man, huh?

This country used to be pretty cool. Might as well call this Western Europe these days.

Literally buying votes at the expense of business. Eventually you run off the businesses and working professionals that are footing the bill.

These fricking loons probably have no idea that much of these “profits” they complain about goes back to hundreds of thousands of shareholders. Many of these are also employees of these companies.

Yes some corporate execs are going to make more money, but at least they have earned the right too unlike dumbass career politicians

The possibilities (for new taxes and fees) are literally endless. Have you not been paying attention to what we all deal with currently??

Will it be too late by the time people wake up? Our politicians are absolutely giddy at our misery because they know the misery leads to the poor masses begging for them to take further control and they gladly accept.

Dems tactic

1. Make grand promises IF given power

2. Induce misery so they beg for the promises made

3. Take power

4. Power is transferred permanently

Look at the student loans crisis. Democrats created the stupid shite and now they campaign on alleviating it.

The stupid "muh living wage" types can't even wrap their brains around that.

first off....when will the people stop voting these fricks in that dont understand that a tax on a company is just filtered down to the consumer. it is essentially a tax on consumers?

second....its frickign laughable to hear and watch the government wag their finger at "Big Oil". the big oil companies make approx 5 cents per gallon of gas and employee thousands. the federal government alone makes 18.3 cents per gallon. Tack on the state taxes and in many states the government is taking 30 cents per gallon all for not doing a frickign thing but suckign the tit of the tax payer.

frick elizabeth warren and sheldon whitehouse. The first priorty for the american taxpayers should be to tell them to frick off.

also why the frick do they continue on this wealth redistribution bullshite. and i love how they will take their cut of that too cause you know they have to wet their beak a little for administering the program.

nothing but a modern day mafia.

Hey guys, i have an idea. You know how we have a shortage of supply in the single most important sector of our economy?

Lets make it even harder to reach ROI on massive capital investments for each new drilling location.

That should spur an economic boom!
