Is being ignored better than being bullied? Mardi Gras walloped Teedy’s mandates

There was virtually no mask wearing or vaccine mandate BS. Almost no one cared.

I did get asked for vaccines at one restaurant.

When the 2nd round of statewide mask mandates started, almost no places here in BR went back to enforcing it like they did first go round. Especially a week or two in. The few places who might have gone back to enforcing it saw that nobody else was, so we stopped having a mandate weeks (months?) before it ended.

Absolute zero mask wearing or vaccine checking at the balls or after parties. You could've shown them a picture of anything while not wearing a mask and they'd stamp your hand and let you in.

The mask mandate only worked if private businesses were willing to go along.

Last week, they decided, they needed the money too bad to go along.

Its exactly how the fear mongering people could have hoped. Just up and vanished like a fart in the wind.

Spent the weekend there. Was asked at every restaurant for it, but not a single bar did.

Sat at one restaurant for 2-3 hours drinking with some friends and several different waiters/waitresses took care of us. As we got up to leave, we headed to the restroom and two of those idiots that had waited on us chimed in, "put on your mask!!"

LMAO! Freaking idiots. You have been serving me for hours and my walk to the restroom is when covid is going to unleash its fury on you?

Freaking clowns.

Problem being that children still need to mask up, and they don't have the option to not wear one or go somewhere else.

I saw maybe 1% of people wearing masks. No one asked me to wear a mask indoors at a bar. One bar all week asked me for a vaxx pass, I flashed it at them briefly and they nodded, they didn't even look at it, it could have been anything.

Harrah's had a hard on for masks and vaccine or negative test.
