I just found out this weekend that people still live around Chernobyl. I thought that no one could live within 50 miles or more. I bought a book last night because I obviously have a lot to learn about Chernobyl.

If you get added to an elderly relatives checking account to take care of things easily when they pass, it subjects the relative to Gift Tax rules and filings.

I thought majority of corporations actually cared about their employees... And then once I was out of college I got a job in the corporate world.

Unlike dogs, cats are not picky about their food. At all. I buy the cheapest food i can get for my cat. And I'll switch it up weekly depending on if another is cheaper that store visit.

Kitty litter however...

Learned this when I bought a cheaper litter that was not as finely grained. The cat stared at it intently, pawed it a few times, then turned and looked me dead in the eyes. Without breaking eye contact, she took a shite next to the litter box.

God damn cat.

I went out and bought her preferred litter of choice that night.

Sex appeal is relative. A girl who is an OT 5 at 20 may be an OT 8 (relatively speaking) at 50.

There is a bunch of US history that I learned well after high school and college that I was pissed I didn’t learn about in school.

I also should have known meritocracy was a joke in this country, but didn’t realize it until well into just 20’s or 30’s. So often it’s not what you know, but who you know or how much money your family has.
