So, the US has a total stockpile of 4.7 million cluster munitions of various types. We are now pledging only to send those with dud rates below 2.3%, but the testing to determine those dud rates is classified, so we don't know exactly which munitions could be sent, or how many.

The new U.S. military aid package will total about $800 million, the AP reports.
It will include cluster munitions, Bradley and Stryker armored vehicles, as well as a number of types of shells for howitzers and HIMARS systems.
It is reported that the new military aid package for #Ukraine will be announced today.

The Security Service of Ukraine opened a criminal case on Viktor Talko, the abbot of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate in the village of Borodianka, who helped russians during the occupation of the Kyiv region, reports the press service of the Security Service.
At present, data on possible assistance to russians in the forced removal of almost 100 residents of the Kiyv region to Belarus are being verified.
In addition, members of the Security Service of Ukraine are investigating the circumstances surrounding the functioning of the russian torture room in the temple, which Talko is working on.

In #Bulgaria, police detain a priest who "cursed" Zelensky's motorcade.
The priest turned out to be a fake one: the man with the cross who ran out to meet #Zelenskyy's motorcade in #Sofia was the local pro-Russian politician Atanas Stefanov.
Stefanov has repeatedly conducted anti-Ukrainian actions in #Bulgaria. For example, he threw down a #Ukrainian flag from the balcony of City Hall.

The American Nuclear Society has carefully considered 'worst case scenarios,' including bombardment and deliberate sabotage of the reactors and spent fuel storage canisters. They cannot foresee a situation that would result in radiation-related health consequences to the public.
The American Nuclear Society also reports that ZNPP's six reactors have been shut down for over ten months and are no longer making enough heat to cause a prompt radiological release.

#Russian "war correspondents" report that the #Ukrainian Armed Forces have taken part of the heights north of #Klishchiivka.
If the Ukrainian military develops success, the occupiers will have to retreat.
"In the #Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian assault units have taken part of the heights north of Klishchiivka. Fierce fighting is taking place for the rest. If the Ukrainian Armed Forces manage to gain a foothold, it is unlikely that the Russian troops will be able to hold the low-lying village. It won't make sense," writes propagandist Semyon Pegov.

His thoughts aren’t too far off
Steve Isdahl reads emails sent in discussing Bigfoot sightings but he always talks about politics in the beginning.
He talks about the Russian Ukraine nuke narrative

Why haven't you disapproved of the Russian use of cluster bombs, incendiary bombs, bombing residential areas, executing civilians, stealing children, etc?
How would you react if the Ukrainians actually engaged in equal methods against Russia?

Not directly war related, but we’ve discussed energy and fertilizer as it relates to global trade impacts from the war prior. This is/can be a BIG win to further decouple from Russia, and in this particular instance China, for concentrated natural resources/minerals.

This board was convinced Melitopol would’ve been captured by now.
I guess they decided to ignore the leaked US intelligence that said they doubted Ukraine could conduct a counteroffensive.

Interesting
1. Russians are about to lose a lot of men over Bakhmut again
2. Russians may be getting goaded into creating a weakness for the Ukrainians to take advantage of for a breakthrough in the counteroffensive.
3. Knowing the Russians so far, 1 & 2 may both happen.
