What the hell is in Kansas, let alone Wichita is there to do?

Would have preferred KC, but got this lovely place instead.

Am I going to be bored as frick and have to drive to KC and OKC for entertainment 85% of the time?

Basically what do folks do in this town during the summer and fall and will a tornado kill me in my few months there?

Download some dating apps and go to town on some big ole corn fed women. That’ll make the time pass

Get ready for some overweight middle aged guys in Denham and Metairie to tell you there’s nothing to do in a city they haven’t been to

I went to visit a family member there for a week. Couldn’t keep me entertained for that long. You’re in for a long 6 months.

Easy, meet up with Hoovies Garage and start a car Youtube channel like everyone else in Wichita

Actually looks like a nice midsized town. And I don't think you could be anymore dead center of the US.

I know some people there. They go to the lake a lot when the weather is nice.

I’ve visited them once in 2005 and have to say it’s exceedingly clean and the people are about as nice as you get. First time I ever had chipotle

Thankfully I won't be there until July which is just under the peak season so my chances of dying in America's arse crack just lowered a little

Wichita can be fun. Not sure about 6 months worth, but it'll do if you don't expect much.

A lot of tornado sirens, wind and allergies, though.

Man, no clue but Wichita is a nice town from the two times I’ve been thru there. It is not like you are in some podunk town.

Go to Witchita St baseball games and chase coeds. That is all I got.

Definitely should show up in Kansas spewing out all of the sterotypes that will be presented as fact in this thread. The locals will love it.

In Kansas, Mother Nature is bipolar.

Prepare for nice people, and extreme changes in the weather.

Damn good hunting too.

Ughhh what I'm dreading. Hopefully the work keeps me busy enough to forget that I'm there
