I won a little league championship one season, not like the little league world series, but our age group in our little league.
More than one RSAK (kickball) championship in BR over the years.
I had to retire after knee reconstruction #2.

My frat, EN, won Tri Delta’s Frats at Bat in 93 or 94. I was a player and pseudo manager.

No but I did sack Eli Manning in 8th grade.
I pancaked the shite out of Will Muschamp my junior year. He was a senior at Darlington at the time, a year before he walked on at UGA.

I won my baseball league twice, once in 8 yr old and again in 13-14.
I’ve been on a team that won two scrambles. First one was a blind draw, so that one was a lot of luck. Second though, my team shot -21. Legitimately, we had witnesses as we had to double up groups. I sunk a 40+ foot putt for a birdie and we chipped in twice off the green for one eagle and another birdie. That was pretty bad arse.

I won a few rec baseball leagues as a kid. As an adult I've been top 3 in a few sprint triathlons but never an overall winner. Biggest accomplishment was probably qualifying for the half ironman world championships.
As my daughters rec softball coach we've won the last two league championships.

What years?
Better yet, don’t. There are only so many 3 time state champs in LA and that would 100% ID you

I came in second at the 1993 Southeastern Louisiana University Freshman orientation spelling bee.
On that day, all my blood, sweat and tears came together for a once in a lifetime 2nd place finish.

5A LA baseball state champs.
Broke something like a 30yr draught at CHS for baseball.
Would have repeated if it wasn't for the queers from Jesuit.

Why doesn’t Jesuit have stairs on their campus

Nope. Never really came close in a team sport. In an individual sport I came in 3rd at nationals in speed skating. It was way back when roller skating was somewhat popular. They call them quads now. Inline skates came into fashion and changed everything. It wasn't that big of a sport but still... 3rd in the nation made me feel good.

Almost. We had the number of victories vs. losses to win District, and then found that the coach/teachers had messed up determining eligibility and one second stringer who had played every game wasn't eligible.
And there was nothing that could be done by then.

Here’s two odd ones.
When I was a journalist I was invited as a guest to a small city’s police department pistol tourney and won the whole shooting match. They tried to hire me afterward. Still have the trophy.
When I was in Vietnam, the ordinance people found 20 something LAAWs (think small foldable bazookas) that were about to expire and invited my squad of grunts to compete in an explosive shootout. They put several 55-gallon drums about 200 yards slightly downhill and I hit them dead solid 3 out of 3 times. I was crowned the “LAAW Man.”
The Nam could be fun at times.

My high school baseball team had an incredible run that fell short.
We weren’t very good. We made the state championship series and ended the season with a losing record.
Back in the 90s in Alabama, districts were four teams. If you finished in the top two, you made the playoffs. Our district was:
1. Suburban team that was ranked No. 1 in the state.
2. Our rival who was pretty good and had a pitcher that played football at Alabama.
3. Us
4. School that dominated basketball and didn’t care about baseball.
You played everyone twice. We went 0-2 against best team and 2-0 against worst team. We would play our rival on back to back days home and home during school. We won our home game and then the next day were rained out. It rained for a solid two weeks and they couldn’t get their field ready so we never played them the second game (they had tiebreaker so we had to win) so we made the playoffs.
Went on an incredible run and won first round on the road in three games. Was over matches in the second round but won a doubleheader with both games going extra innings to get to quarterfinals.
Quarterfinal opponent was disqualified for having played an ineligible player. We won by forfeit.
Semifinal was a lot like the second round. Lost the first but came back next day and won double header.
Took our district opponent to three games in final but couldn’t finish it. Finished 15-17 on the season and 8-5 in the playoffs. Those three weeks were the funnest i ever had in high school.

District & state Dixie youth, district in high school, intramural state champs twice, NSA, WSL state champs in slow pitch softball, state champs in usssa softball, WSL world championship has to be one of my greatest memories.
Was apart of lots of championships but they do not mean much to me now.
