I'm working in Canada right now on contract... The majority of Canadians do NOT agree with what's going on right now.. most of the protesters are farmers or seasonal workers who don't have anything better to do then to cause s*** for other people trying to live their normal lives... It's gone to more of an occupation of downtown Ottawa the nation's capital.. the government is trying to drag their heels as they don't want this to turn into some sort of martyr situation for the protesters... The funny thing is though this protest comes a little late as most of the provinces in Canada now are going to be relaxing covid mandates and such... Seems to me the people I talk to can see the light at the end of the tunnel in life getting back to normal is the sense I get

Canada has many of the same covid restrictions that other advanced countries have... Canada has battled covid like many other countries of the world ... The provincial government of the province I'm working in is ready to open things up shortly... Schools are open gyms are open bars are open and restaurants

90% of the truckers in Canada are vaccinated... The president of the largest trucking company in Canada just gave an interview and said that their employees and their business is fine and there is no disruption in the delivery of goods... Again from reports and what a lot of people are saying it's farmers and other seasonal workers who are the majority of the protesters
