reports continue to suggest LSU is in the mix even though Arch, nor any Manning, has mentioned LSU

As was stated before, media driven. End of that side of the story.

On the other side, can you imagine the BK haters as well as as opposing coaches. “He didn’t even visit the #1 QB in the country that was one hour drive from campus.” That would be repeated thousands of times in an attempt to poo poo Coach Kelly.

Coach did and knows that he must , do his due diligence. Nothing more, nothing less.

He only has LSU dropped right now because he has no relationship with BK. Once that develops, he'll have us on the list. That said, we all know he's not coming here and never was so it's irrelevant. I still think we got the better QB with the higher ceiling. Arch is good and you always heard Cooper was the best athlete of all the Mannings until he got hurt. I don't really buy that and don't see it in Arch. He's very good but just a slight step down from Howard's raw athleticism. If Howard ends up how we expect I'm okay losing Arch.

Mainstream national media already hates BK and keeps pushing a narrative he's an awkward hire that will not fit here culture wise. They were making fun of him on NSD at all the whiffs he was getting in recruiting and linking back to his bad dance videos. It was complete silence once he got Perkins the biggest recruit though and ended up with a top 6 class which is nearly unheard of on such a fast movement of coaching purge.

LSU is now the first to put out a big true NIL deal where the money goes back to the players. While all the other universities will surely follow, this is excellent marketing for us and in the shorter term at least, gives LSU an advantage. We're going to have a great class with a full year of BK recruiting.

It’s Georgia and Bama.

Saban will end his legacy winning a title with a Manning then ride off into the sunset. It is written.

Hope he gets to go where he wants to go, not where his family wants him to go.
Arch was good about letting Peyton go to his school of choice & that worked out pretty well.

I really don't care where he goes except Alabama. Besides, we are ok at QB for a good while.

Because the Manning’s don’t want to outright piss of people from Louisiana.

Just ignore it

Regardless of the Manning family’s history, any prominent prospect in Louisiana is going to be mentioned in conjunction with LSU

If this bothers you that much you probably have bigger problems. At the end of the day most people don’t care. 100,000,000 screaming china women definitely don’t care.

For clicks. That's it.

Arch 1000% isn't even thinking about LSU let along going there, yet these reporters/writers want to make it think that the home state kid will look at going to the home state school to the reader, even though we know it's a bunch of bull.

Why am I downvoted for being right? I'm completely right.

He’s a Louisiana kid. So lsu will likely be mentioned with him. Although doubtful he’s even considering us. Also, by your own admission, this was a shite article. So the writer probably doesn’t have a clue.

All that good will quickly disintegrated in 2020. I’m fine with him not coming because I’ve never expected a Manning to step on campus and it’s ok.

But you read the article, so they got you. And you posted about it here.

My questions are, why did you bother reading it in the first place and why did it cause you to start a thread about it here?

Don't see him coming to LSU with Walker Howard already here and one year ahead of him. LSU (boosters) is not going to want to work up an nil deal that big for Arch with Walker Howard already on the payroll anyway
