I never understand it. I always call before I go to a new gun range, and ask multiple questions on their rules, how they want the gun set up before I go inside, ect ect. I am as pro gun as you're gonna get, but idiots like this give us all a bad name.

Be careful what you say when buying a gun, too. Don't make jokes when buying a gun about shooting your wife; the seller may stop the sale then kick you out of the store. This actually happened to a friend of mine who used to work at a gun shop.

fricking idiots. This is one of the very few things that make me go from 0 to attacking mad in a split second.

“It ain’t loaded” is an invitation for a beat down.

Hot Wells Shooting Range Incident

Reminds me of this shooting range incident that happened on my side of town. The range has a gunsmith shop on the property. Someone brought in a rifle to be serviced which had a round in the chamber. The article doesn’t really detail what happened but a gun shop employee picked the rifle up and aimed the rifle into the parking lot at the victims head who was getting out of his truck to go shooting. Pulled the trigger and killed a father of three. The gunsmith employee is an emotional zombie now and the range which has been there for years is now closed to the public.

One stupid act can have extremely negative impacts to a bunch of people. Lives ruined and lost.

I remember watching a video awhile back of some hoodrats filming themselves with a gun. The girl takes it and is waving it around then points it at a bald headed guys head and pulls the trigger. You see brain matter shoot out and the guy instantly seize. Her and another guy instantly bail and leave the guy to die.

This is from a few years ago and we watched this video during my conceal carry class. I think it even happened at the gun range I went to for the class, Texas Gun club in Stafford.

I believe both guys got banned for life. Even the poor bastard who had the gun to his head. I guess they figure if he’s dumb enough to have a friend like that then he deserves a ban too.

I lost faith in humanity progressing many years ago but this further proves my belief. Anyone who wants to know how far we have NOT evolved as humans, show them this.

I used to average a thousand rounds a month shooting USPSA matches. Never an accident and if there was an AD during a stage it was always pointing downrange.

To reinforce the fact that range safety protocols work?

The whole fricking point of my post was that inexperienced shooters can be dangerous at the range.

Do you have trouble with reading comprehension?

Gun safety, might be the biggest oxymoron ever. Deadly safe.
