She warned against buying into theories that the virus will continue to mutate into milder strains that make people less sick than earlier variants.

"There is no guarantee of that. We hope that that is the case, but there is no guarantee of that and we can't bank on it," she said, noting that people should heed public safety measures in the meantime.

So it's going to give people worse sniffles?

Viruses don't get more lethal when they mutate...that goes against all biological principles..

Morons are just trying to scare people.

it is, to date. If someone told you there could never be anything more transmissible than omicron you need to find someone else to listen to

Probably will be, but don’t viruses, even viruses that escape from a lab want to live? Viruses get weaker and less deadly as time goes on because if the virus kills all the host the virus will also die. If all social media and message boards disappeared on the internet tomorrow this crap would be over in under a month.

Is this in regards to the original Chinese virus which had a devastating 99.9% survival rate?

Light speed? How are we measuring the speed of transmission?

You're providing a thought process to some protein and RNA. The fact that a virus becomes milder or more virulent is entirely through happenstance.

The "fact" that is going around that all virus grow weaker with mutations is entirely false.

Wuhan Labs Inc will probably create something more along the lines of an Ebola strain for their next act. They have to get the global population down to 500 million someway, somehow. Sadly it looks like a large chunk of our mentally weak society are down with it.

Alex Berenson was on Tucker tonight, damning continued us of Vaccines that no longer match the Spike Proteins of current Covid variants. He seemed to think that the use of these Vaccines could/would make think worse in the coming variant scenarios. Sounded pretty believable, but I'm no scientist.

This is an absurd straw man.

Without commenting on what you're apparently trying to say, albeit stupidly, no one is afraid of the size of the shot. Or the shot itself. The skepticism about the current CV19 vaccines has to do with a wide credibility gap our public health officials, politicians, health care providers, and pharma have created.

It has nothing to do with an actual needle. Hell, an infinitesimal amount of fentanyl is lethal. This isn't about size.

Yeah but Alex Berenson isn't either.

I think part of his argument is right that vaccines that lose effectiveness should be stopped, but his main point that they will make the virus mutate in a different way isn't how antibodies work.

Yet, that’s what usually happens. COVID-19 that more than likely escaped from a lab is getting weaker for the vast majority of people that get it. It’s becoming more transmissible but not near as deadly as it was two years ago, the vaccine will probably protect you from death, assuming you aren’t already on its door step
