You guys ready for the next round of lock downs? Teedy sucking on her teeth in anticipation.

"The next variant of concern will be more fit, and what we mean by that is it will be more transmissible because it will have to overtake what is currently circulating," Van Kerkhove said. "The big question is whether or not future variants will be more or less severe."

She warned against buying into theories that the virus will continue to mutate into milder strains that make people less sick than earlier variants.

"There is no guarantee of that. We hope that that is the case, but there is no guarantee of that and we can't bank on it," she said, noting that people should heed public safety measures in the meantime. What's more, the next iteration of Covid may also evade vaccine protections even more, making the existing vaccines even less effective."

This is all such bullshite. And they already said Omicron was the MOST transmissible. According to them, the majority of people have had it or will get it.

But at this point who cares. I went back to my regular life around April 2020

frick it. I don't care anymore. Let it rip. If a third of the population dies, I don't even care anymore. Let's just get it over with.

You are cool with a third of the people you know dying?

The virus will be more contagious but less harmful. Pretty much what viruses do when they are trying to survive.

If it means the way of life before Covid, then yes.

Read what the WHO says though. They're saying that's not guaranteed. This whole thing smells.

No you guys, seriously, listen. I think this virus will go against the mutation path of every single fricking respiratory virus in the history of this entire fricking planet because....reasons!!

Ya!

Now put on your six masks. We're only two years in to two weeks to flatten the curve. We've got at least another ten of fifteen years until we make those two weeks.

Always wondered that about manufactured viruses. Are they "programmed" for a specific evolution.

Mandatory booster jabs every week or you’re fired!

Viruses get more contagious and less deadly as they evolve

What remains to be seen is how bad this leaky arse vaccine makes future variants. Im no biology major and even I know leaky vaccines are bad.
