I’m sure that ‘misdemeanor’ was probably another murder with the new woke district attorney’s we have growing in our midst.
Shoot ‘em up and walk around free! Nice!
This is of course what you get when you stupid dumb fricks in California and elsewhere keep insisting on voting in Far Left politicians. But you refuse to learn from history and facts and refuse to look at the data and continue voting into office the criminally insane.
The American justice system is an utter 100% failure.

You do realize bail is just a way to ensure a defendant shows up for its court dates, right?
It's not supposed to be punitive and the person is presumed innocent at that point in the process.

We have no accountability. We have tons of programs and training for those that want it. There are some that for what ever reason, choose not to participate in society like others do.
They end up in and out of jail for minor offenses but there is little to break the cycle. They do their short stint in jail and then right back to causing trouble. Our system has nothing to counter that.

We have to put the insecurities of capital punishment behind us. "Barbarism" or crime run amuck. Personally, I prefer public execution broadcast to the masses.
