Tulane in BR at the end of the year. I remember when that was a great rivalry

game tickets including to the Ole Miss Cannon run game
When downsizing prior to our last move, I found brochure from that game - only the centerfold page was missing
I gave it to my granddaughter who had been a Golden Girl (2005-2008) - and very active in alumni affairs. She features it in her little "Tiger Den" in her new home.

Students got in free as late as the 1970’s

Thank you for sharing my grandfather was a freshman on that team. I’m always looking for memorabilia from then. I have never come across a ticket book like that before. That is really neat.

I do believe I know some of your family. I grew up with Scott and bought Erick's house a few years back

It’s amazing what our parents & grandparents keep for us to find.
Interestingly, even in 1936 Miss St. was our Homecoming game. Some things never change.

That's pretty awesome! Great post!

They would probably display that in the LSU museum, if you are so inclined.

Pretty good slate of games.

How is it possible that anybody would downvote this?

I wonder if they complained about the lack of night games back then too.
I was going to say, the stadium probably didn't have lights then. however, I looked it up, and the first night game was in 1931.

Yes they were a founding member of the SEC and left in 1965.

That's awesome...and so well preserved.

Believe students were issued these and did not have to pay; students got in free like smaller schools still do today.
I graduated in 1972. Paid, I think, a $53 athletic fee at the beginning of the fall semester and got into any and all athletic events all ear with an ID flash. I guess it's different now?
