It is amazing how we vilified smoking yet we promote vaping to the point that 15 year olds do it freely and adults think they can do it where ever they are. We just started the whole cycle over

Vaping sucks, but it’s way less obnoxious to other people than cigarettes. Vape cloud > cig smoke

I don’t get the idea that cigars are classy. They smell like shite and taste worse.
I’ve been at gatherings where a few of the guys would retire to the back porch or deck after dinner and light up cigars. You could tell they thought they were really “cool” and sophisticated.
Invariably,it was the same fruitcakes I had no interest in talking to.

Haven’t smoked or a drink or beer since December 27th. I feel good and like the idea that I do t smell like cigarettes. Not to mention $8.50 a pack. To expensive anymore. Hopefully I can continue my healing!

You’ve got a death wish if you’re still smoking in this world.

The people that regularly smoke think they’re great, probably never going to stop.

People that don’t smoke or quit think they smell like shite.

For my line of work I have to deal with the capers a good bit. They think thry can do it anywhere and they happily throw their cartridges on the ground. They aren't much different to me

I loved smoking but it was killing me, so I stopped, but I still love smoking.

Much the same if I decided to stop eating meat, it wouldn't mean I no longer liked eating meat.

Trashy but I think vaping is trashier because it doesn't look as cool

The problem with smoking (cigarettes) is that it usually becomes a habitual, daily, repetitive thing.

If someone says they smoke, or if someone SEES them smoke, most folks assume they smoke a number of cigarettes daily; in their car, at home, outside during a work-day smoke-break. A pack a day or so, because in reality FOR MOST, that's what it is. And to that level, it IS a stinky, nasty, expensive, dare I say it, TRASHY thing.

But here's a distinction. Smoking cigars is not the same. Other than historic folks like King Edward, Sigmund Freud or Churchill, cigar smokers aren't chain-smoking cigars on a daily basis. They are generally reserved for social occasions-- after a nice dinner, outside at an event, in a cigar bar, yada yada. It's a totally different expectation.

The same is true of drinking. There is little to no social stigma about drinking-- unless you do it every day, all day long, at all kinds of locations-- work, home, in the car. You do that, you are an ALCOHOLIC.

You have a couple of glasses of wine on a dinner date, a few beers while watching a game at home or at the bar, some cocktails at a party-- that's all cool. It's "social drinking".

But do the same occasional indulgence with a cigarette-- have one every so often (if you are allowed to) and everyone clutches their pearls, calls you a "smoker" and "trashy". It's like calling someone who has a drink on the weekend a wino or a drunkard.

Smoking is a general tell that someone is cool.

Nothing worse than uptight prudish soy bois complaining about smoke; you may as well watch your carbs, grow out a bob and become a full blown Karen.

Honestly wish I could still smoke without regard for my body like I did in college and soon thereafter.
Having a child made me care about how long I live a lot more, and getting into fitness really fricked it up. When I began working out I still smoked and couldn’t get on an elliptical for 10 minutes. That alone made me quit and start dipping. Quit dipping one day via a deer stand thinking session decision.

All of that said, I would love to blast a cig. But I know I would go back to a pack a day instantly. Sucks. Camel Filters are the chit
