So every phase 4 film outside of Spiderman? That sums things up pretty well

I enjoyed Black Widow and Shang Chi. They weren't outstanding but they were entertaining. I'll probably watch Eternals this week.

If you consider shite a must watch, then yes

Hard to say just yet, but in time there will be characters from it popping up in other places. It’s narrative structure is a bit different than most MCU, and cinematography is arguably the best in the entire universe with numerous spectacular shots. Establishes some interesting stories and characters that will definitely be explored again. Worth a watch imo.
I’d rank 2021 MCU:
1. No Way Home
2. Shang-Chi
3. Eternals
4. BW
Didn’t dislike any of them, but thought BW would have been more effective coming out in 2017 or 2018. Shang-Chi has some of the best fight choreography in the MCU and a fun new character who will clearly be joining the Avengers sooner than later. Crouching Tiger vibes at times throughout.

It was absolutely terrible. I stopped an hour into it and debated whether to finish. I did. Just felt so manufactured. So much happening and so little emotional investment. The attempts at comedy were awful. So many talented actors and such bad performances.

It was easily one of the worst marvel movies.

Worse than Captain Marvel?
As an MCU fan, I basically feel obligated to watch it. At least my expectations are extremely low.

I'll watch it, but based on the reviews I am not expecting to be blown away by it. It's just another entry in the Marvel Universe.

Watching Eternals now.
Outside of Spiderman, it seems very phase 4 movie so far has just been world-building filler. We'll see how Eternals holds up.

Yes. Its just not a good story and they don't really give you any reason to care about any of the characters. I had low expectations as well, and actually didn't plan on watching it but my young nephew was in town so I took him. But if you're fine with just watching super heroes you dont care about fight, then it'll be fine.

I may watch it sometime this week. The trailers didn't wow me. I didn't really get great reviews. I had plans on watching it in theaters, but it wasnt a high priority. By the time I finally got around to it, it was no longer being shown.

Ok movie. The introduction of the celestials (not including Ego and small snippets we have gotten from Guardians of the Galaxy) and their scale was
tho

Have to agree with you. Honestly not sure why I should care about these characters. Maybe it'll be paid off in a future film the way Thor eventually came around.
