Our struggles right now are a combination of O starting to make the program rot and Kelly making massive sweeping culture changes

We would have had a better off-season if we had retained O, but it wouldn't have been a good trajectory for the long-term. I'm not sure if all of the changes we have made have been fully necessary, but I'm not about to start backseat coaching a brand like Kelly before he's had a chance to prove anything here.

And.....most of you have no idea how bad it became from an organizational, management and coaching point of view.

It will take the British (Irish) Knight a little while to clean up the rotting Shrimp heads and throw the shite smelling garbage out.

I'm not that concerned about what's currently going on with recruiting or hires. (Unlike all the juvenile Rantknockers that are freaking out over nothing worth being concerned about)

Just get it right and move on to a "Saban Machine" like effeciency......

You're confusing qualified with good.

Recruiting rankings mean nothing. You only have to look at the last 2 years to realize this. You recruit a room full of highly rated receivers rather than recruiting lesser rated players that are of big need. OFFENSIVE LINEMEN seem to jump to the top of that list.

O read too much of his own press. He recruited to protect his reputation vs recruiting for the team’s needs. But knowing his history it should surprise no one.

Oh, so being a good coach shouldn’t be a qualification for the LSU head coaching job? Get the frick out of here with your nonsense.

fricking O sycophants continue to plague this board. It’s pathetic.

It blows my mind. They cannot be real people or persons or individuals or independent thinkers.

He wrapped a Ferrari around a pole and took a fricking Pinto in return. And dumbfricks around here want him to come back and be DC or DL coach. What in the everfricking frick?

Again, the story is the hiring of Alleva, but no one is interested in that.

They won’t go away either. You better believe that any critical play or loss that the team suffers under Kelly, Ed simps will be trying their hardest to make him not seem like such a shite coach in comparison.

At first I wasn't bothered by the hire of O if he truly learned from his mistakes @ Ole Miss....then he wins a NC, starts chasing tail forgets his binder @ this place implodes.

To be honest all the BLM crap made stop watching sports and following details.

I still don't know the story of why O starting chasing tail, nor I don't know shite about the Aranda split, or if that's what Aranda wanted.

No matter Woodward made the right call dumping O.

But I've always had the belief LSU needed to dominant the Super Dozen recruits and top 24.

Also, did O ever welcome former players in house or not?

The dudes recruiting classes are as follows: Orgeron/LSU Kelly/ND 2017-7 10 2018-15 10 2019-5 15 2020-4 18 2021-3 9 So how is Ed Orgeron at fault for 2022 recruiting woes when our class was ranked 3rd in the country before Woodward fired him(which has been his MO since he’s been here)?!?! Oh, that’s right, we are LSU fans and we lack the ability to acknowledge that there’s always several factors involved in a situation. The last 3 years LSU’s class rank avg was 4.0 (with 1.0 being the best), ND’s avg over the last 3 years has been 14.0. So how exactly is the guys 10 classes behind on average the last 3 years gonna save us?!?!

Read it again and weep over your supposed ND savior.

Won the GOAT Natty and Heisman in his 3rd year. In 2020, lost 15 players to the NFL, 5 NFL players opted out cuz of Covid, lost Brennan in game 3. In 2021, lost Brennan the whole year, had unprecedented injuries and still basically beat BAMA and had a huge upset over A&M. Ran the program into the ground. Got it.

Never could understand how Alleva was hired by LSU. He tried to destroy the Duke Lacrosse team players because he didn't have the courage to stand up to the false accusations of a drugged up stripper. He also make world-class bad decisions on coaches there. At LSU, all of his decisions were bad and he could not get a quality coach here either.

I'll take 1 Natty every few years

Do you really think he was trending to another natty next year? Not sure we’re watching the same team.

He struck gold in 2019 anyone could have coached that team to a national championship. The good ones can sustain it and we have been getting farther and farther away from that. All good though bc we finally have a competent coach for the first time in 16 years.

Had 4 wins over top 10 teams the year before he “struck gold”. Imagine thinking we only had one good season
