We finished with a top 3 class last year even after sucking hard. O would have finished strong in recruiting like he always did.
Firing O and having a lame duck staff for weeks, no semblance of a staff before early signing day, along with a coach with few ties did this class in.

There’s a lot that can be blamed for where we are today. The program, the recruiting class.
I think everyone touched on it, even the ones I normally don’t get along with here.
This class was going to suffer to rebuild.
Did you want a rebuild or a nice recruiting class and the same results?
It’s important to realize this was going to happen, we’re going to be set back. But it will turn around quickly. Next year’s class will be so much better, and the state of the program will be thriving.
In the meantime it’s normal to be frustrated. Lose the need for instant gratification though and you’ll be better off.

Almost as if I this could have been predicted of him. Luckily he’s gone now and I’ve confidence in BK to right the ship over the next couple of years. Won’t happen overnight

For the record I was completely ready for O to go after UCLA.
Happy to give him a chance once he became our coach and glad we got 2019 but he just wasn’t cut out to lead a program like LSU for any long period of time
