It’s more about the way he was overrated and overinflated by many here JUST BECAUSE HE COACHED AT A LOUISIANA COLLEGE. Had he been the UAB coach, not a single one of them would be clamoring about him.
We all acknowledge that he’s done pretty good IN THE SUNBELT (though still didn’t win the championship even though his teams were far more talented than the others much like Kirby Shart at Georgia). But the Sunbelt ain’t the SEC. far from it.

Can he coach? I know he can recruit, but we had a guy who could recruit top talent and our receivers still dropped 90% of what was thrown their way.

Napier is starting to remind me of Coach O, hiring staff to please the fan base/national media and not the actual team need, its what's gonna cost him his job as well,

He was the tight ends and inside receivers coach in 2018. Coached st. Brown and pittman. Drake london. Recruited bru mccoy.
