Napier could hire some random dude off the street to wash laundry and some of y’all would say it would have been a good hire for LSU and call him a genius.

What did he do at USC as a coach that was so remarkable?

He worked under Napier while at Alabama

If kerry cooks is so good why didn't kelly hire him when terry joesph left for texas?

Cooks was an analyst on the notre dame staff at the time.

I think Napier has the opportunity to prove he is a top coach. Up till now, if I were a Gator fan I’d be a bit underwhelmed with what is happening. He has his shot and I hope he does well enough but not enough to beat us.

Here’s the thing-nobody actually hates Napier. I’d bet most people here acknowledge he’s a solid coach with a bright future.

But when he’s jammed down our fricking throat by goons on here and the local media, it’s turns people off. Same deal with Orgeron.
