Which could make it very close to the largest stadium crowd for a concert in the US.

According to the country music superstar’s promoter, Brooks has sold 102,000 tickets for the April 30 show in Baton Rouge, making it one of the top two largest crowds ever for a North American stadium show. The record was set by a George Strait show in 2014 that drew 104,793 into the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

I'm surprised they couldn't configure the stadium to fit more than 102,000. I'm assuming they are going to put the stage in the north end zone.

Are they allowed to go over stadium capacity? Not sure how that works with the field being standing room

I wonder if Broome will give him a key to the city.

That’s a 10 Million dollar gate for the show.

I was there.

And did anyone notice BR Tourism Commission is subsidizing this show with $250k of taxpayer dollars? Who wants to bet the city negotiated themselves some sweet free tickets with that taxpayer money?

The chart I saw looked like the stage would be at about the 25 years line and it will be an “in the round” type of stage. Not sure the reasoning for not putting it at midfield.

That's definitely a profitable endeavor for Garth Brooks.

Taylor Swift or George Straight would probably sell about that much in Baton Rouge.

Foo Fighters might have had close to that at Lollapalooza, but that's not a stadium concert.

I'm surprised that they can't fit more people in Tiger Stadium than AT&T stadium. Are they selling tickets on the east and west upper decks?

Swift and Strait both played Bayou Country Superfest but the stage did not make it to where the entire seating section was used in Tiger Stadium

Brooks will use entire seating sections

Traffic leaving gonna be bad, plus LSU baseball has a home game earlier that day

Why are so many conservatives in the South supporting Garth after he played at Biden's inauguration?

Must be the same "Republicans" that didn't vote or voted for JBE because their guy didn't make the run-off in 2019.
