Rivals has us at #40. Where can we expect to finish? I don’t trust these sites.

Calm down. Go to the 247 class calculator. If we get some decently ranked players, our ranking shoots up very fast. No way we finish out of the top 15. Top 10 is certainly attainable. Be patient

After February, expect somewhere around 12-13 his year.

I think we'll be outside the top ten, maybe top 15, mainly because of our total number of signees.

Miles signed 12 or 15 his first year in 2006 I think. LSU won a National Championship in 2008.

Lets talk about this class AFTER the transfer portal weighs in. Our next 2 years are going to made/broke much more by the transfers than the freshmen.

It’s called early signing for a reason. We should have a few more strong recruits by January.

When Kelly was hired, we were ranked at 15. I’m worried that Kelly won’t play dirty like the rest of the SEC.

You can’t have the same recruiting tactics that you had at Notre Dame. If he wants to play with the big boys in the SEC, he better start acting like the rest of them.

For historical accuracy, Miles first signing class was February 2005. LSU won the BCS for the 2007 season.

When Saban bolted in 2004 Miles’ rushed recruiting class finished #17. Expect to finish somewhere between #15-20, but the landscape has changed now. The transfer portal can offset recruiting losses.

The landscape has also changed because Miles had over a month until signing day. Kelly has had 2 weeks.

Think of all the ground we could make up on guys if we had another 2 weeks until signing day. It's not insignificant.
