Gofundme account for Tornado Relief

223 S Sixth St
Mayfield, KY 42066

My town is leveled. EF3 to EF4 damage. If the tornado tracked 1/2 a mile further west, it would’ve hit the church me and my family were hunkered down in. The loss is devastating.

Thank you to everyone that has reached out. I’ve gotten texts and calls from as far as NOLA. My house is fine. No water or power. At least 50 dead. Pray for not just us, but everyone from Arkansas, through the boot heel, TN as well. Worst outbreak since 2011.

It looks like Tuscaloosa or Joplin.

Oh damn. Haven’t seen this on the news yet. Hope it’s not that high.

If there is a local charity that you think would be able to help please post it (not Red Cross, etc they will just scoop the money and use it how they want).

Damn, Baw. That looks pretty rough. Good luck on you, and yours, staying safe during the aftermath.

Glad you and your folks are ok. There’s nothing worse than riding out a tornado. I’ve done it twice in my life. One took the house next door to where I was staying.

A couple of the education groups I work with are connecting with FRYSC coordinators at schools in those areas to try to get something set up to get families supplies.

I am glad you are okay. This tornado was on the ground for 235 miles and went through Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, and Kentucky. It is probably the only four state tornado in history.

+1 on the request to let us know what a good local charity to donate to is. Not giving one dime to the woke Red Cross and their high administrative fees.

How far in advance of the storm did you decide to move to the church?
