From what to what?
Is that 3% rise a rise of 1% to 4% mortality rate, or is it 1 death per every some number to 1.03 per every some number?

Sad that the pandemic still isn’t over because y’all won’t wear masks… even around the little ones

Don’t they give infants Covid vaccines. Hmm

6 months is the earliest you can get it. I’d be interested to see how many parents are having their 6 month old get the jab. It can’t be many.
If I had to guess, the jump is due to the people having the babies. A larger portion of babies are coming from women who don’t take care of themselves.

My guess is the kids are coming from mothers who have received the shot while pregnant

This and overall people have less money and are taking greater risks with healthcare. Access to care is more difficult than ever too finding a new doctor or pediatrician can be a pain in the arse especially if you live in an area that’s seen a population boom. Since the pandemic services have gotten worse this includes healthcare.

Ive said before my wife works at a hospital that’s focused on baby delivery
She told me 1/3 of all babies born there are in withdrawal

Abortion was outlawed in many states. More risky births or births to people who don’t take care of themselves leads to a greater mortality rate. This should be expected. It should also be expected that the number of people on welfare and SNAP benefits will skyrocket over the next 5 to 10 years.

I would guess there are several factors involved in the rate rising.
One will be a lack of awareness amongst the baby-having folks as to actually effectively caring for a youngin’.
Just like many of their male generational counterparts who cannot change a flat tire or properly use jumper cables, an increasing number of new mothers aren’t equipped to take care of babies.
With infants & babies, some medical issues can snowball quickly if untreated and lead to death.

If many of the new reports are true, then the jab is in the mothers DNA and, thus, the baby's.
Here is an explanation: From a prior TD thread

Living in MS around conservative, Christian, friends, family and coworkers,I'm assumed to have a anti abortion view, but I privately agree with you

Our pediatrician refuses to give it and refused all the way through.
He's awesome and old school. Got to be close to retirement though

This is an epidemic. There was a story on the local news in Bham this week talking about the explosion of kids having to be raised by their grandparents because so many parents are strung out on drugs. And a lot of these kids are they themselves born addicted to drugs. I can’t remember the exact number, but if I remember correctly they said in Alabama alone there is over 150,000 kids who now live with their grandparents.

I think you will be shocked at that number. I know people who have stayed on top of the boosters for their 4 year olds. Had kids in the trial runs, and there are a lot that were some of the first in line when they lowered the age of eligibility.
You also have to factor in the parents that are getting their shots/booster while pregnant knowing that their kids won't be able to get the vaccination until a certain age
It's been said many of times on this board, COVID broke a lot of people. And that refers to people on both ends of the spectrum.
