Friends take over Nashville hotel after employees leave front desk unattended for hours

Howard and Brooks have worked in the service industry, so they said they found the master key to the kitchen. “We got what we could: yogurt, biscuits, waffles. We were not so successful with (the waffles),” Howard said. But an employee of the Holiday Inn hotel, also run by Wyndham Hotels, arrived and helped diffuse the tense situation. “At this point, we’re exhausted. We’ve been running this place for three hours. We just want to sleep,” Brooks said. “He was so thankful and grateful that we did what we did.”

I remember I was staying in Stratford upon Avon at a small hotel.
I came back one night stoned and drunk and hungry. The guy working the desk went into the kitchen and made me egg and mayo sandwiches. They were so damn good.

Sounds like all they really did was cook up a little bit of half assed breakfast. Not really much else they did sounds like they were running the hotel.

I checked into a hotel in Fresno I few years ago for a conference. Got to my room and unlocked the door and there was this hot Latino maid sitting on the toilet taking a dump. Was so caught off guard I just closed the door and went back to the front desk for a new room.

Husband and I checked into a hotel on Corporate years ago when we went home for an LSU game. Waited forever for the front desk clerk to come to the front and check us in. Then, walked into our room to see a fully naked man faced down and spread eagle on our bed.

What makes it worse is the hotel tried to charge them a resort fee on top of the room. After Holiday Inn heard about it they comped them a room.

When you realize most of these type hotels 100-200 rooms and one person at the desk at night, amazing nothing bad has happened at one.
