The internet gave weirdos and extremists the easiest path to galvanize their ideology. For the last 20 years we’ve allowed radicalized and increasingly bizarre communities to not only thrive but take over entire sects of our culture. It’s a fascinating study in human sociology. I’ve decided to not let it anger me anymore. I’ll keep my community and my family safe and study these things like the explorers from tales of old.
