Heres a fun one

quote:

What occurred throughout the investigation was we were able to determine that multiple individuals traversed a large fence, and enclosed fence to that individual homeowner’s back yard or rear area of his property. At that point somewhere along that situation the homeowner fired some gunshots in the direction of those individuals.”

So they came onto his property to rob him, he shoots at them, he gets charged with 2nd degree murder, they get charged with trespassing and attempted theft.

It’s sad that jbe has made self defense illegal in Louisiana. First they made an example of Garrett ward and now this guy

Attempted 2nd degree murder

He can beat the charge by claiming he fired into the air to scare them off, assuming there are no holes in his fence or neighbors’ houses.

They need to learn if you enter someone's yard in middle of night to steal, someone will shoot your thieving arse.

Homeowner actually has 2 charges KADN

quote:

Patrick Narcisse (52) of Lafayette was arrested and charged with Attempted Second-Degree Murder, and Illegal Discharge of a Firearm. The two other males were juveniles, both arrested for Attempted Theft and Trespassing.

Curious as to what the law is regarding when it's okay to shoot people who are on your property in the process of stealing from you.

Really? When did that happen? (Hint: this is a lie.)

EDIT: this is a classic self-defense. Baw has a right to protect himself and his family.

No way Im convicting the homeowner of anything if I was a juror.

Id vote to make the perps pay all the legal fees as well.

Could you explain why you think JBE “ made self defense illegal”?
Thanks

Time and time again we have seen peaceful self defenders prosecuted and persecuted by jbe’s soros activist legal system simply for defending themselves from attackers. The big lee shooter, Garrett ward, the Joe McKnight shooter, now this guy

It’s really sad. Just because you liked jbe telling you to triple mask doesn’t mean he’s right about self defense

You've been here since 2007 and you really don't know el Gaucho is a resident troll and all of their posts are sarcasm?

You probably should have included:
quote:

One of the juveniles was hit by a bullet and is in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say both boys were also arrested for attempted theft and trespassing.

As much as I like the idea of shooting a damn thief, isn't Louisiana the "if you shoot 'em outside better drag them inside" for an air tight self-defense defense?

Honestly I don’t think it matters. Still shouldn’t have been on good property to steal.
I’m not ID checking before I protect myself.

Another reason to not live in the city. Shouldn't be such a charge as illegal discharge, especially when used for a valid reason. Dumbass should not have shot at them unless they were actively trying to harm him, but shooting at the ground should be perfectly okay.

Seth Fontenot should be in jail for the rest of his life. He fired three shots at a vehicle driving away from his property hitting all three passengers and killing one(15 years old). There was no evidence that any one was trying to break into his vehicle. He was just gun happy because there were prior attempts at a break in and this vehicle just so happen to be driving at a slow rate of speed in front of his house.

I guess they missed the sign reading “Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again.”
