His team and himself is just stupid. I get it he is a tough guy and a team player but give it a break. You are hurt and it shows in his demeanor and his play on the field. Teams know he can't run and can't throw it deep take a month break and come back if your team has a chance. just my .02

They should shut him down until they can diagnose whatever it is he’s trying to ignore and play through. Then let him rehab. Instead, Mike Brown will eventually just break him like he breaks all his quarterbacks.

He can't plant or push off his back leg. He can't push off that muscle, because it's not ready yet. He is still another month away from being healed from the calf injury.

People around here sure do love to hate on him though. He's not effective right now and I don't think it's worth the risk, but some could argue they are always at risk. I don't know, but he probably won't be more like himself until after their bye.

He can’t push off his plant leg. Should not be playing, but he keeps going out there and sucking.

Baker Mayfield screwed himself out of a nice payday playing through an injury in 2021. Imagine if Burrow was still on his rookie deal

Unless he reaggravates it like he did just last week. Bengals should’ve held him out the first couple of weeks. I think Chase basically said this before the season.

I'm sure he is hurt, but the Bengals line is atrocious.

The Bengals had a 22% pass block win rate yesterday. The league average was 56%.

We were told a few years ago that the Bengals getting La'el Collins from Dallas was this huge coup. Collins is out of the league currently.

This year it was Orlando Brown from the Chiefs.

Are the Bengals just awful OL evaluators?

Could’ve drafted an All Pro tackle that went to Detroit. Oh well they got a shiny WR

I wish people would just throw out their takes instead of starting it with personal feelings. I know it’s a heavy lsu board and having a hard take on Burrow is unpopular. But if you’re going to swing, come out swinging. No need to hug it out first.

You never know how things work out but Chase is a very important part of their success as well. Not sure they get to the Super Bowl without him.

Don't blame Burrow, blame the coach and GM. Look at the playoff game of the Chiefs vs Jaguars. Mahomes gets hurt and Reid refused to put him back in the game until he got an X ray. Even after finding out there was nothing broken his question to Mahomes was can you protect yourself. When you have a 10+ year franchise QB play the long game don't be so shortsighted.

Their next four weeks are Arizona, Seattle, Bye Week, and 49ers. They're probably going at best 1-2 even if he plays. Sit him and hope you steal Arizona or Seattle. Come back when they're 2-5 and try to go 7-3 over the last 10 to get a playoff spot.
