LSU had an entire offense of NFL players when he was here, including multiple future pro bowlers.
And we did what with them the year before?

I would melt over Joe Brady coming. He gets way too much credit for 2019. Joe Burrow, JJ, Clyde and Chase made that offense not Joe Brady. I want assistant coaches that can recruit

How would this even work? The nfl season has a long way to go. I don’t see him getting fired mid year

That would be a home run hire. I will take it.

Anybody who would melt over hiring Matt Rhule needs a lobotomy.

If anyone types anything lower than a 10 they are nothing but pure evil.

I think you would run him out of town in 5.5 years

Would be largey ok with me
Let's see.
Trade O for Rhule ... AND ... bring in a guy as an offensive coordinator who is being mentioned as a potential NFL head coach ... AND ... that "would be largely ok with" you?
Well gosh! Aside from putting Saban in a time machine and hiring him as a 48y/o, Matt Rhule and Joe Brady would be "LARGELY" okay with me too.

I would be ecstatic if we hired Rhule!
Posted on 11/28/21 at 4:48 pm to MrWalkingMan
Rhule would be the top hire from the get go.
“But he has to coach another month and muh signing period!”
I’d rather lose a few recruits than lose on a dynamite coach.

He's failing as an OC (the first time he's held that position), and LSU had an entire offense of NFL players when he was here, including multiple future pro bowlers.
Bama has nothing but NFL players and their offense sucks. Don’t diminish Joe’s accomplishments at LSU. He’s been saddled with horrible QBs and a mostly injured star RB in Carolina. I agree Rhule is the priority, but would have no problem with Joe Brady as OC.

I’d take that combo over Riley.
Also woukd prefer Aranda with Herman over Riley

So Matt Rhule is going to leave an NFL HC job for LSU? Interesting
Posted on 11/28/21 at 5:07 pm to Hobnailboot
Rhule would be a grand slam. Has been my top preference. Doubt it happens but would be ecstatic if we pulled that off.

Carolina does have their bye next weekend… if he was going to make an in-season move, now would be the time.

So now we're not giving Joe Brady credit for the work he put into those players getting exponentially better once he showed up?
Who do you think worked the WR's hands over that summer? Whose idea was the summer of 10k catches? Stop it. It was all his concepts. Just because it doesn't work in the NFL doesn't mean it stopped working in college.
