TBL has posted that Fickell has already told us he wasn’t interested.
Also the unnamed radio man that everyone hates said this last week but nobody believes him

Where did we get the Riley is #1 at?

Leaked sources say it’s Riley and Fickell among the top two with Napier and Franklin being the other two. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out who’s no1

And those are who exactly?

1a and 1b, in any order. I’d be thrilled with either hire.
Both have question marks, but both are proven winners, have sustained success, and have skins on the wall against major programs.

Riley without question. But I think it’d take a Jimbo type deal to get him to come here. Maybe less years, but a higher annual salary and all guaranteed.

I think you are 100% right on that!

Fickell may very well end up being great, but it’s also very possible he may simply be a product of the Cinci program.
Right. That vaunted Cinci program could be propping him up.

More information will be out next week potentially.
Officially, or sauces?

I see what you did here. Perfect response.

Riley but he would bolt for the NFL would be my concern
But here's the thing...as long as Woodward is at the helm, does it matter? Everyone keeps saying that we haven't had a competent head coach in Baton Rouge since 2004 - and that's true - but we also haven't had a competent AD since I can remember.

Another baseless assumption

There are no such sauces saying this. Just speculation.

I assume Riley is no.1 on Woodward’s list simply because of his resume.

Fickell is the best choice.
I just don't think he is going to take the job.
He has 5 kids who are school age.
Why would anyone with 5 school age kids move to such a high crime city in a state that ranks 48th in education?
Kids education and safety trumps a few extra bucks.
