These people are retards whose standards never make it past the first round

Just like Will Wade's basketball teams.
quote:

Wade will play in the first weekend for the third time since McMahon has been at LSU. That will be 3 more times than he has or probably ever will at LSU.

But hey, let's make fun of Will Wade

You're arguing with yourself. McMahon should be, and will be canned after the SEC Tournament.

But if the goal is excitement with mediocrity, if the goal is to slide into the national tournament and get bounced in the first or second round, then Wade is your guy.

McMen

Not a McFan. Just because I don't think LSU should rehire Will Wade, doesn't mean I think McMahon should be coaching the Tigers next year. Don't understand this board's obsession with Wade. Especially, when we could do better.

Yep relegated to making fun of a team tourney bound

Maybe he'll make it past the first weekend this time.
...that ESPN just moved on to the KU-Arizona game. Maybe the Wolfpack AD will just give him back to LSU.
quote:

Wade will be making a deep tourney run this year because that’s what he does. He’s a winner.

He's literally never done that.
quote:

Wade is about to take his 2nd team to the dance since he left LSU.

Maybe he'll make it past the first weekend this year.
He was the #1 dual threat QB coming out of high school. Why not give it a shot?

Tulane getting smoked.

Jon Sumrall picked a good night to get exposed on national television.
quote:

I know what you mean, but I don't think Will Wade is like that.

I hope he can return to LSU.

Oh, me too! At the end of this embarassing, public catastrophe, I hope we can re-hire a basketball coach that's never coached past the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
After Joe Dean and Skip and Alleva, we finally hired an AD that wasn't a retard...and we ran him off. So dumb. The antics of the governor and this series of events will set LSU back farther than many on this board have ever seen.

Jimbo Fisher’s initial contract was 10 years

The ten years isn't the problem. The fact that every penny was guaranteed whether he won, lost, or showed up to work...that's what makes that contract so terrible.
quote:

Should be an auto-ban for anyone that keeps mentioning this... the TAMU AD AFTER Woodward signed Jimbo to an extension resulting in the huge buyout

Yes, but the original contract Woodward inked with Jimbo was just as absurd. $75 million...all of it guaranteed. Jimbo could have went winless at A&M, and he would still be owed every penny of $75 mil.

Didn't age well.
The county where Murray is located is dry. Up until a decade or so ago, the town of Murray was dry, as well. When I would visit family over the holidays, I would amaze my Murray State friends when I talked about how easy it was to access booze in Louisiana. But that was in the late 90s.
In Kansas City, the A's are in town and the Royals are giving away an Alex Gordon bobblehead. Nice fireworks show following the game.

Some folks have advised Arthur Bryant's, but that's the last legacy BBQ joint I'd recommend. Go to Gates. Get the chopped burnt ends sandwich.

My other BBQ recommendations would be Chef J's, Q39, and Joe's. In that order.

If you have time, check out the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum or the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum (or both).

Before tonight, there wasn't an opportunity to beat 3 teams in the playoffs.
