Can't be harder to recruit there over Tulane and he's doing a great job there.

I got an alert the other day that they pulled Joseph's interim tag. Is he not the HC there now?

He's 62 years old. I seriously doubt anyone tries to take him from Tulane at this point.

Tulane pays him a lot more than Georgia Southern was paying him, but had he stayed at GaSou, he would have won enough there to make the jump for even bigger money.

As it is now, his age may likely prevent him from reaching a top P5 job.

He’s won everywhere he’s been. They could do much worse

If Lance Liepold leaves Kansas I think they'll finally hire Fritz. He's from Kansas and has interviwed for the job twice before.

Hold it right there! I am dead serious about Texas A&M might take him on as the next HC or as an assistant?

More likely to be the next Texas A&M HC if Jimbo Fisher gets fired. Fits very nicely there. Plus, he would be
a cheaper versus of Kiffin.

The time for a big school to scoop up Fritz was a few years ago. At this point I don’t think anyone is going to throw money at an old coach who is probably going to hang it up in a few years

If any of the Big 12 schools like Kansas, Kansas State or Iowa State lose their coach to Nebraska, he would be a great replacement.

Brian Kelly was 60 when he took the LSU job. Mack Brown was 67 when UNC hired him back. Lou Holtz 62 at SCar. Spurrier 60 at SCar as well

It's not too unheard of

It would take the right fit, but Fritz would be a good hire. He’s a builder not a flashy recruiter.

It would have to be a program that gave him time to build up as he wants.

I'll add that Bill Arnsparger was 58 when he came to LSU.

4 of Tulane's best 6 seasons this century have come since 2018.

Since, 1970, he has accounted for 1/2 of Tulane's bowl wins.

So yes he is doing a great job there.
