Why hasn't anything official been released from LSU on Ensminger?

Maybe there's some backtracking going on right now? It's very strange that we haven't heard anything official yet.

They are waiting until Friday to announce it. That way the weekend will help soften the blow back.

They leaked the info to start the fire early so when it's officially announced the fire will be losing steam.

Hopefully the unprecendented opposition is hopefully causing pause. I don't really believe that, but at this point I am desperate for hope.

Maybe...although they are getting a ton of heat right now.
I tend to think that there is legitimacy to the infighting. And, that while the decision is "made", the political process of getting everyone to "agree" is still ongoing. Likely, the AD is pushing the timeline as far down as possible because that just makes it harder for someone to push back.

We have multiple new hires. Maybe they’re waiting to introduce all of them together in one PC to limit Orgeron’s time in front of the media?
Say on Thursday they have a PC with Cregg, Sullivan, Ensminger, McMahon, and the defensive assistant, they’re officially in place for the recruiting weekend, the focus isn’t entirely on the OC situation, and Orgeron doesn’t have to speak in public again until the next signing period.

SEC office won't let them dump official news on Monday. Nothing to take away from the game. Thats why we got a soft leak to Delly.
