Its not only his age but also he has aged very poorly, imo. This would have been a solid hire 10 years ago although culturally he is in for a great shock.

Agreed. Stability is what LSU needs the most right now. Hopefully Kelly can coach at a high level for 5-7 years then groom someone to take the reigns once he retires. I truly don’t know how anyone could not love this hire.
