We have early signing date. We have portal in a few weeks. The roster needs to be re-recruited. Am I missing something?

If he accepts the job with some penalty if he backs out, wtf do we care if he keeps coaching, with the agreement that while he’s not coaching, he’s allowed to recruit non Ole Miss rostered players until their season ends.

Getting the right coach takes precedent over maximizing this recruiting/transfer cycle. An announcement is enough.

They have to make a public announcement and sign a contract now. Then let him finish the season.

If we announce him in place, we can recruit based on that alone. He can still coach OM while we recruit and NIL based on his name.

Him coaching deeper only attracts players to LSU and not Ole Miss.
