Simply put, who would be the most savy hire for the Chiefs and their future.

Would be interesting. I think a lot of surprising current head coaches would jump ship to get with Mahomes.

I could honestly see them promoting Spags and keeping most of the current staff together. Timing makes it a little difficult, and of course Ben Johnson is still out there

It would be Eric Bieniemy, but I'm not sure he's the best hire. Reid and the Cheifs have been talking him up as a head coach candidate for too long and with too much righteous indignation to pass over him for someone else.

No way this happens. My money probably would be on Kafka.

Would be a terrible hire. There’s a reason nobody hired him away from KC - everyone knows it’s Reid who controls the offense and Bieniemy just rides his coattails

Does it count as passing him up if he's already the OC in Wash?

Nah if they went in house it would be Spags most likely. Then maybe Nagy

Yup. The Chiefs are way too smart of an organization to hand the reins over to Fat Pete Carmichael.

I heard Burger King is building Andy a sideline hut with a window he can coach from in his elder years
