i will take anyone but franklin.
dude will be 36-36 in conference without moorehead after this weekend. frick that kind of mediocrity.
would rather it not be kiffin either as he has never put together 2 good years in a row. he is an OC pretending to be a HC, but atleast with him the highs........are really fricking high.

I wouldn't be that crazy about Napier, but I admit it could be a gamble that really pays off.

Kiffin and Freeze are the only two complete non starters for me. Kiffin is an offensive coordinator masquerading as a head coach and he just screams too ADD to run a program well. Freeze is an all around terrible person and frick him.
Franklin I wouldn't be happy about but he's realistically fine. He'd get us a bunch of NY6 bowls and the occasional natty appearance. He's just a very known quantity at this point and that ceiling isn't better than the Miles era. There are other guys that I'm confident would reach a similar baseline but have way more potential upside (eg Napier, Campbell, Tucker) and wouldn't require nearly as many stipulations to actually get here.
