I'm thinking Matt Rhule. What thinks the board?

I think Leopold would do well there. He's proven he can build a program in places without immediate access to talent.

Matt Rhule has $40 million reasons to take off next year.

I would not be happy if Leipold ends up there.

With what the Panthers are paying Matt Rhule, he can afford to wait. Though I do think his Baylor record versus Top-25 teams deserves some question. Solid program builder, but beyond that...?

Rhule will lose $40million if he takes a job coaching. Likely he will end up at ESPN or something other than coaching until he has collected the full $40 million.

Scott Frost! Oh, wait he just got fired from there! I believe this really hurt Frost to get another good HC in the SEC. He should have stayed at UCF and wait for a P5 open up in that location. Some HC need more time or not able to realistic turn a dumpster fired program around. Then it took away his health and enjoyment.

They should make Gary Patterson tell them “no.” I’m sure he’s more than happy with the gravy job he has in Austin right now and probably wants to stay there for as long as he can but you don’t know until you ask, and I’m sure Gary knows in the back of his head that the Longhorn boosters are a fickle bunch and his current position could be done for after one of the money men wakes up on the wrong side of the bed.

??? You mean recruit in those areas? If not, then Nebraska is doom. While in the Big 12 they had Texas pipeline. It is now long gone and forgotten. Will have to start over whatever is best for Nebraska. This is the same for West Virginia. Bad location in the conference and too far from most schools in the conference.

He’s from Rozel KS so maybe Lincoln wouldn’t be so unattractive for him

Nebraska was a year late on Kalen DeBoar and that is simply another nail in the coffin of that program

DeBoar was perfect for them, being from Sioux Falls SD

I like Leopold but i wonder how hot of a name he will be when they lose out and go 5-7 after starting 5-0?

Leopold

bad AD's will see "5-7"

good AD's will see he lost to Oklahoma by 10, TCU by 7 and Baylor by 12

Kansas used to lose by a million every week
